Tatteo was born from the frustration of being too far from great artists or missing them when they were guest-spotting around. We wanted to offer a service that helps people get tattooed by the best artists and help artists to find guest spots so they can travel closer to your home and visit the world!
In 2015, we launched a very qualitative Facebook group where artists and studios would post their portfolio and job offers/requests.
The rule was simple: No advert, No spam, No selfies, No babes, No Scratchers. (Was not simple!)
Artists responded very well and we are now an international group of about 5000 tattooists.
Now, what about tattoo artists fans?
Well the next step for us is to launch our service for the fans!
We want to build a service like songkick but for tattoos. So wherever you live you’ll be notified when the artist of your choice is in town.
